Chef David prepared a simple but delicious “peasant dessert,” Clafouti, on the June 11 segment of the Weekend Today Show. The recipe is featured in Bite 14, Dessert Baking, as part of the Learn How to Cook (and eat your mistakes)! series.
The custardy dessert is perfect when made with stone fruit (i.e., plums, peaches), but can also be made with everything from raspberries to grapes.
